If you don't have a lot of time (or money!) this recipe is great. Oh, yeah and it's yummy!! 38 Minutes to Prepare and Cook
Ingredients
Tofu firm, 1 block
1 cup of vegan Barbecue sauce or reduced sugar/fat BBQ sauce
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of lite sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon of hot sauce
2 tablespoons of splenda
1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
Dice tofu into cubes about the size of small cubes. Heat oil in frying pan and add tofu. Saute on medium until the tofu starts to turn a light golden color. Meanwhile, combine the rest of the ingredients. Stir this sauce and add it to the tofu. Continue to cook on medium until the sauce has thickened. This will make 2 adult servings,(4 side dish servings).
